T-LOCK precision locknuts
The main features of the T-LOCK precision ferrules are high finishing accuracy and an efficient locking system.
The most common locking of ferrules is achieved by means of a series of grub screws acting directly on inserts in direct contact with the threaded surface of the shaft. An alternative type of nut locking, in this case elastic, is achieved by means of hexagon head screws operating on opposing sections of the nut.
The material used to manufacture T-LOCK ferrules is Carbon steel SCM 440. The accuracy of perpendicularity between the thread of the ferrule and its bearing surface is between 0.002 and 0.007 mm depending on the design of the ferrule.
EXECUTIONS
The different designs vary depending on the type of mounting, different clamping conditions and axial clamping forces.
